The danger is if he is a double secret spy and turns on bama. I am sure he knows where all the bodies are buried in that program.

Lets focus on what this is really about shall we?

UT declined a public records request by Knox News to see Jeremy Pruitt's response to the NCAA. It cited Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act and Tennessee Code bylaws that deal with confidentiality of intercollegiate athletics programs.

What are they trying to scoot under the rug??? HMMMMMMMMMM

Getting closer

Former athletics director Phillip Fulmer arrived a few minutes later, followed by his longtime attorney, Jeff Hagood, from Knoxville.

Fulmer isn't mentioned in the NCAA report. But he could answer tough questions about Pruitt's alleged involvement or defend against any accusations that Pruitt might make of Fulmer's knowledge of wrongdoing.

At least the second thread you have started about TN and Pruitt. Rent free in that empty mind
Captain Doofus is following this story closer than CNN followed the raid at Mar-A-Lago. I bet he sets alarms and wakes up every hour during the night to see if anything has developed. 🤣 He's convinced this will be the end of the University of Tennessee. Not the football program. Not the athletic program. The entire university. Not only that, he thinks everyone is consumed with the story too! 😅

He is such a clown

only bama fans, they hope cornbread can escape without a show cause and can be hired under the little Nicky Saban rehabilitation program.

Alabama football fans following these events carefully will not miss that former UT AD and Head Coach, Phil Fulmer is a witness for the Vols. Whether Tennessee Football cheated before Pruitt or during Pruitt's tenure – or both, Fulmer's job will be to deny anyone above Pruitt knew anything or did anything wrong.

I can only guess about the collective gullibility quotient of the NCAA Hearing Committee. But as a longtime follower of Fulmer's career, I can suggest anyone expecting to hear the truth from him, is stunningly naive. The oddity of the hearing process is that Fulmer, long believed by Alabama football fans, to be one of the SEC's all-time cheaters, could be considered a credible witness to deny wrongdoing by one group (that includes himself), while also pointing a finger of guilt at Jeremy Pruitt.

Let's focus on the fact that SEC commissioner Greg Sankey (who formally was on the NCAA committee of infractions himself) unexpectedly attended both days and sat with UT and their legal counsel directly across from Pruitt who sat with his own legal counsel. Basically giving a sign of support to UT. Here's how this is going and going to go. Pruitt is trying to not get a show cause so he can come back and coach but he's guilty and caught red handed. He wants to throw UT under the buss and has to an extent. UT self imposed their own penalties and fired everyone involved. The committee for infractions cannot just say good job and that's enough. They will look weak. Sankey showed up for a a couple of reasons. One he can't let a major sec power go under much because it costs way too much in lost revenue to the sec and honestly to college football and the NCAA too. Secondly he is backing them against Pruitt. We all know he's in tight with these committee members and he is the commissioner of the main and most powerful college conference in the NCAA. UT is only fighting the one charge which is failure to monitor. We accepted the rest because they won't carry many if any more penalties. Pruitt is fighting his show cause and several other charges. In this scenario who do you really think is getting hammered? The cash cow who has Sankey backing it and would cost the NCAA millions to penalize or the gump who has no backing and is caught red handed. Let me summarize how the penalties will go. UT will get at most a few more mild scholarship reductions and some recruiting limitations I.E. less visits. That's probably worst case. Pruitt is about to be barred from coaching college for several several years and be the fall guy. Bama is not getting him as their DC and he's about to be sacrificed. There possibly could be some back room deal worked where he gets set up to make decent money doing something like commentating or some other job but his career in coaching is about to go on a long hiatus. I'm sorry you want UT to get the death penalty and look terrible and your boy to come out ok but it ain't going down that way.

Lets focus on that Fact that Greg Sankey showed up in support of ut. Lets focus on the fact that it was ut themselves blowing the Whistle on themselvs. Lets focus on the fact that it was ut doing its own investigating and Throwing Pruitt under the bus, self imposing this self imposing that and blowing smoke up any arse they could to get out of this jam. Lets not also over look the fact they FIRED....wait for it Phil Fulmer who just happens to walk into Cincinnati with a attorney. If you did not do anything wrong what would you possibly need a attorney for Phil?

ut money gonna buy its way out of this one? Truth ever going to come out? IDK if we will ever know but we are starting to see cracks in the coverup get exposed.

Not to change the subject but what the heck is going on with y'all's qb situation over there in tuskaloser? It has to be in shambles if the rumors are true of saban tampering with Tyler Van Dyke. Y'all better get it figured out before the 3rd Saturday in October. Two losses to the Vols could be considered a pattern. Go Big Orange.

Looked up deflection in the dictionary. This post came up.
