Rodgers Sporting Goods has 12 gauge 3" Magblends for $21.99 a box. That's the best price I've seen. $11.99 after rebate. Shipping was very reasonable too.

I bought a box of Longbeards when they were on clearance, but haven't shot em yet. Other than gas or an occasional new piece of gear, I don't spend much on turkey season. The rounds don't rot and if it helps the bird be more dead its a good investment. I didn't have the upfront cost to support patterning with hevi so I use longbeards. I really have nothing to worry about. I can't call a turkey to start with.

That's where my problem comes in. I love to shoot paper. If I went to Longbeards I could shoot all I want. As it is, my scope is zeroed, and my son's scope is zeroed, so I just shoot one shot in each gun to check zero. Don't worry about those Longbeards at all. They throw a crazy good pattern. Amazing patterns when you consider it's lead.
