It is raining hard but I'm here hunting. I hate sitting in blinds but hate sitting at home worse. I've seen 4 hens so far.

Dedicated? I used to love sitting in a blind waiting on the rain to stop.

I was going to tough it out but the lightning made me think otherwise. I'm home drinking coffee now.

I slipped out after the rain passed. Was able to strike up a gobbler but hens took him in another direction

Couldn't stand it si me and a buddy are Sitting in a shooting house. Radar looks like it should end in 30 minutes or so then we're going drive a wma and try to strike one.

Fun hunt this morning. Gave these two gobblers a pass since I was sitting in a deer blind. I enjoyed watching them until the heavier storms came through.

Def not stupid. I probably should have set up a blind this morning. But I heard the rain and it was rough. Caught up on much needed sleep and now I'm in the woods.

Good luck catman, I had a rain suit on but I still couldn't have stood it if I wasn't in the blind for the first 3 hours cause it was a absolute downpour here. I would have got soaked just getting to the blind if not for the suit and there was some lighting also which scared me a little.

dumbest thing I've done was walk to the truck after gutting a doe I killed during bow season a few yrs ago. Right as I got done gutting, a storm blew in, and I got soaked as I ran down a field edge to the truck with a 20 pounds of aluminum strapped to my back and lightning all around. The storm passed by the time I got back to the deer but thinking back I should have at least left the climber in the woods.
