Deep cleaning a shotgun barrel

REN's post made me think of this article I read awhile back as I was searching for information on polishing my 835. I ran across this article about deep cleaning. I done as the article said maybe took it a little bit farther in the process even. I was amazed at how much gunk was removed. I will do this again this weekend before I pattern my gun again. in non chrome lined barrels the first few times can be a really pain in the butt but after its cleaned out it gets easier.

thank god for chrome lined barrels!
