I got to say that this Saturday can't come any quicker! I did a quick scout of two areas I hunt and found 3 hot scrapes and fresh scat throughout one area. My concern is whether its a morning route or afternoon one. Either way I'll be out there at 5 am to see what crosses my sights! The mineral lick I made a month 1/2 ago is getting trenched out pretty good so maybe I'll get that 6 pointer I've seen cruising around by lunch time! Gotta say that the past 4 years of hunting and learning is now going to pay off. Stay safe out there guys and keep your focus on the enjoyment of the hunt!

I have a area that I have been getting alot of pics of does, bucks, some really nice!!!!!!. I have noticed white oaks falling in the same area and some really nice trails. Opening day where will you guys be??, yep I know everyone is pumped. Deer are starting to change patters depending on food especially acorns, hope the wind is correct and out of the north. Wish everyone well and lets stick one. I am hunting acorns!!!!

I too threw out a mineral block probably 2 months ago. I checked it 2 weeks after I put it out just to see if the deer were using it and sure enough, they are . I haven't been out there since, so I'm hoping that its only gotten better. This is new property for me so I have no idea what's out there...I'm letting my imagination do the guessing. But I'm definitely ready.... Come on sat! Good luck guys!
