Deer Vids

Those vids are so cool. You can really tell a lot about the deer's age and attitude from a video over a picture. Thanks for sharing.

I much prefer these videos over pics for Intel on deer. It really allows you to get 10x the information from a short video as opposed to a still pic. Thanks for sharing!

Nice bucks but I tell you,I am very impressed with the video quality of your camera.which model is it?
It's a Stealthcam NG42. I got it off Amazon https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00HMN7H04/ref=twister_dp_update?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

It has 3 presets or you can do your own program. I started off last year with 30 second HD vids, they are ~100MB per vid. Then tried 10 second, they were too short. This year I'm running both cams on 20 second and so far have been pleased. A 20 second HD vid is about 80 MB and I have 32 GB cards in both cams. They use 8 AA batteries. Last year I ran Energizer Lithiums and they ran the entire season on one set of batteries, from August till around Feb when I picked the cams up. I've been very pleased with these cams so far.

They also have a fast trigger time and reset time. I was running a Moultrie that had a 60 second recovery time between pictures.

They can also be programmed with a security code so if they get stolen at least the thug can't use them.

Great cam for videos and very affordable too. One our members here, Vermin93 has been pushing that exact model for years.

Nice videos, what are they feeding on, or what has their attention right in front of the camera?
