Opening day of ML season and the first chance for me to deer hunt for myself this season, I haven't been able to watch a UGA game in a month, and now it looks like this will be a dandy afternoon game between the cats and the dawgs.
Knowing this may slightly affect my deer quality selection while in the stand on Saturday morning in order to get me home in time for the game...
I'm feeling pretty good about the DAWGS' chances on this one, but it's definitely not a gimme, and should be a hard fought slobber knocker. If UGA plays a clean game, and the defense can finally start deciding to try to stop a running back before they get 4 yards past the line of scrimmage, then they should pull it off. If they look past this game (doubt it), play sloppy with penalties, turnovers, or play calling, then UK could have a heyday.
It comes down to this: UGA has more talent, but UK has more experience (and possibly cohesion). Quite often experience and headiness outplays talent. It oughta be a good one.
