Depthfinder issue

When I turn up my trolling motor to max power my depthfinder goes off. There are a couple other things on the circuit. It is a Garmin 4 SUV with the transducer mounted to the trolling motor.

Recently I put a third battery in the boat. It is for my new Garmin Striker 7 and a power outlet so my wife can charge her phone.

Is it something with the transducer or should I rewire the power to my new battery?

rewire to the new battery. never put a unit on a TM circuit, too much interference. the TM is dropping the voltage below 10v, probably, shutting it down.

and fyi, garmin units draw little power, about 1.5 amps or so for the 9" units and about 3/4 of an amp for the 7" units.

I was going to just buy another cable, but they are 1/4 the price of the depthfinder! I guess I'll be rewiring this one.
