I am getting some things ready for a show in Fayetteville and I made up a few box calls I thought you might get a kick out of this one.
The wood is flame box elder from a tree that came from near my house. Most of the red has rotted away but it has spalted lines, red, blues, grey and blacks in it. The sides are book matched and the paddle is from the same piece of wood but about an inch away.
The grain and colors make it look like clouds blowing over sand dunes just a neat find in the blank.
