Destination advice??

I'm going to take my son on a 3 day bass trip May 15-17. Debating on Chick, KY Lake around Paris, or Pickwick possibly for smallmouth. Thinking about hiring a guide on Pickwick for Friday then using our boat Sat and Sun. What sounds best? I know nothing about Chick and very little about KY Lake.

I would pick KY Lake. Should still be plenty of shallow fish and also some on the shallow ledges as well. I was there once practicing for a tournament and big blue gill and shell crackers were everywhere. I was wishing I had an ultralight and some red worms.
