Different day same result

Y I went this morning where I know there are birds and not one gobble all morning from anywhere??????
 
Haven't heard a gobble all day. Been around several spots since 9:30, some new and some I know for a fact have birds. Still have not heard he first gobble.

Hope it picks up. Birds were quiet on my place as well today. A lot of the more vocal birds have been removed through natural selection tho :)

It's as bad as I have ever seen in KY. I've heard 1 shot all week. Birds gobble on the limb and then quit after flydown. Not a peep rest of day. Not seeing any hens going to nest so I'm assuming they are all still flocked up. None of my buds have killed any...
 
Heard more gobbling from 7-9 am than I have ever heard! Crazy how different areas can be so different!
 
After the y would fly down in in Kansas, it was rare to hear them again. Out there though the weather was truly horrible and I'm sure had a LOT to do with it. Can't wait to get out of the hospital and get to hunting again on Friday and Saturday mornings :)

My buddy hunted a farm in Greenville last weekend and said it was unreal at the amount of gobbling he heard, 4 of them killed 8 birds in 2 days.

Quite an accomplishment considering the weather sucked.
Somebody must of had those birds tied up. :shock:
 
All I could hear was wind... I could hear 3-4 on the limb this morning from my back porch then I drive an hour and a half to hear nothing... Yesterday was the day...
