So from what I gather Disney owns espn and the sec network.
They are probably wanting more money and dish won't pay.
So espn and the sec network are no longer available on dish. 😡
Great timing huh?

Pay way too much and college football is about 90% of my tv time in the fall.

I hate crooked arse bs like this.

Roku or fire stick?

If you have smart TV or other streaming device, I think you can get a 7 day free trial of youtubetv. We switched a few years ago, and love it. And cut the bill about half

I'm thinking about telling them to come get all their crap and get one of the jailbroke deals and watch anything I want.
I am beyond pissed.
Back when cable came out, my old man either bought a pirate box of spliced into the neighbors house.
My neighborhood was ghetto.😀

Do you have dish for satellite? Have you applied to Starlink? THere is a wait but maybe youre not in the area for that wait. I've been on it since the spring and started streaming with Firestick (Amazon) recently and we cut Dish loose. Its almost as fast as broadband.

We can't get squat here.
Spectrum for internet
Dish for tv

Might have to go to spectrum for tv but next year it will probably be the same bs.

If you have decent internet, do the free trial for YouTube TV. Not gonna cost you anything.

This. I dropped the Spectrum cable but kept the internet. Got Hulu and watch all the games I need too and saved almost $120/month.

I'm saving a fair amount - StarLink I'd bought anyway when I dropped Exceed for internet. We kept Dish for awhile after that but I started streaming Amazon Prime which we got for shopping and I added Fox Nation - streaming on a laptop as the receiver and then to our TV. I soon got Firestick and that became the receiver.

Starlink was 600.00 up front for the amazing outdoor antenna and in house antenna. Its plug and play. It does its own navigation as the satellites are in motion they are NOT Geo Stationary. Quite slick. The monthly fee is 110.00 but well worth it. I just ran the speed test 73 Mbps down and 10 up. I've seen it well over 100 down at times and there are 3 devices on it right now.

We had to get other streaming services because Mrs has some shows she wants to watch and they aren't on the same service. So we have Sling, FriendlyTV, ParamountPlus, and a couple of others.

I bet Dish lost several more thousand subscribers over this.

I wonder if Disney is trying to force Dish out of the market. These "disputes" oddly seem to happen around football season.
