do any of you hunt after work in the afternoons?

ever had any luck? I get off around 4 and could be hunting by 4:30 but didn't know how much they gobble that late in the day

Some of my best huntin is in the late afternoon. Turkeys will gobble all day long.

Left work last Wednesday at 3, killed this guy at 3:45 and home in the freezer by 5:30.

Went today and ALMOST got into range of two NICE gobblers.
They never made a sound and I pushed just a bit too hard and messed up.
Had fun though.

i have not this year just because i only have 1 bird left so i dont feel the need. I have had alot of success hunting in the afternoons though after work.

I killed one at 4:45 Saturday afternoon. Mornings are usually a better show on our land, but afternoons can be easier.

yes had one yesterday evening fired up and he was coming but i had no choice but to get up and leave cause i had to take my girl to t-ball at 6:00

that is as hard a thing as i have ever had to do, leave a bird that was gobbling his head off
