My Matthews FX turns 11 this year.
Still love the bow.

Put a new string/cable on 2 years ago.

My bow seems to have lost some oomph over the years.
Still shooting 70# draw but my pins have a bit of space between them now. For the first 5 years or so, all my pins were stacked with the bases touching 20-30-40yds. My 20 and 30 yd pins could actually have been a little closer but the bases got in the way.

Do the limbs loose power over time? That is the only thing I can think of to explain why it doesn't shoot as flat as it used to. String and cable are almost new, arrows are the same I always shot and tips are still 100gr.

Anybody else experience the same thing?

Where the axle to axle and brace height measurements checked to make sure they were right when the new string and cable were put on? Was the cam rotation checked to make sure it was right? Was the draw weight the same as with old string/cable? Just because the string/cable are new or newer doesn't really mean anything if it's not twisted enough to get the bow is spec. The first thing I would do is find the specs the bow should be and measure and see if they are right. Also, on the Mathews forum they have pics of how the cam rotation should be. I would try and find a pic for that bow and see if the cam was the same in the pic.

I "think" everything is in Spec. Thomas at the dickson sportsman store did the work and it shoots sweet. It just isn't as flat shooting as it was the first 5 years or so.

I checked the specs last year and added a few twists to the string/cable to bring the measurements back into line.

Regardless, its been like that for several years.
