I don't think so.

App St is no slouch, and is an upper-classman laden team across the board. I fully expect the Vols to play fairly vanilla, which will result in maybe a 10 pt game at the half, and then maybe stretch it to 17-20 in the second half. If our D is effective, then I can foresee a run-out-the-clock and punt type offense in the 4th qtr to avoid any possible turnovers.

BTW, how is possible that 7 of the sites have the Vols at 20.5, but one has it at 30.5?

Man I don't know.... 20.5 I think is a good bet. 30.5 is a tough one though.

I'm betting the 30.5 is a misprint... or somebody threw some huge cash on UT at that place! I don't think they'd accept a single bet large enough to move the line 10 points though.

... but... what do I know

I think they cover 20.5, but I wouldn't touch 30.5.

38-17 Vols.

I wouldn't bet the Over in the first game. Offenses are typically a step behind defensed in the early season, and as the OP stated, I expect them to play vanilla against App State.

well if you think they cant lose that is nuts any thing can happen

granted the odds are ut will win easy but you never know

If they lose the fans already have the excuses to back it up anyways.

The topic has nothing to do with if they "loose" :D !
