I know some of you guys hate decoys and think strutter decoys are cheating. We have some toms that will not come off the next door neighbors property no matter what we do. My nephew got a Jake Thursday (his first turkey ever), but the toms will not commit. I told my brother we may have to help him out a little with some visual enticement.

I went to get a strutter decoy and they are expensive even on sale. I found a Jake and it was not too bad price wise. I took it home and redneck engineered one of my old turkey fans collecting dust in my garage to the jake decoy.

Obviously i can't use it in the rain, but here he is. DO you guys think he'll work?

Oh and you know how these companies name these decoys like Killer B and Billy Bad Boy and what not.

I am calling my "Strutting Setterman" SInce I know he will be thrilled with my invention.. :smash:

Sorry Setterman I couldn't resist.....

Looks like it would work.
A guy on oldgobbler actually took a killer B and glued feathers to it. He said he had 25 hours in it looks good when he finished it. I couldn't imagine carrying it around though.
