Doe and Coyotes

I found this to be interesting. In the first pic the doe and raccoons hear something. One minute later there are two coyotes. Then 6 minutes later the doe is back. I would have thought the coyotes would have run her off for a longer time.





 
Learning how to co-habitate is part of their nature, I suppose.
(Kinda like being married is for us: You learn when to keep your distance, and how to read body language. And, you always keep an eye out! ) ;)
 
Deer are in close proximity to coyotes on a daily basis. As long as the coyotes aren't actively hunting the deer, they coexist just fine.
