Just wondering -- I drive through Hatchie NWR on the way to my lease and thought it might be worth a look. Does anybody have any experience there?

Thanks,
Z

The regs pdf says spring season only, same as state regs, one bird limit, and non-toxic shot.
I've there a couple of times squirrel hunting and didn't notice any turkey sign, but I honestly wasn't looking.
Any info appreciated.

I've seen them on the north side of 40. I see about a dozen or so through out te bow season for deer. It is not to far from my house out in Arlington I might consider going if I can;t find somewhere to hunt for the season.

I've hunted there for turkey quite a bit the past couple years.

have not done any good.

certain times it seems to get plenty of traffic.
Heard alot of trucks stopping, then followed with some aweful calling, then you hear the truck drive off.

not sure where I'm gonna go this year, thinking I'm gonna drive up and hunt Cheatham
