Higher HQ sent orders that there will be no hunting on the Arsenal through 28Feb23. I suspect it will be revisited annually until something more permanent is decided.

This is correct. My company has been in there all throughout this past year doing work on some rail cars stored in there and we were told the military was taking it back over. All the guards were tight lipped as to why they were.

Maybe shutting it down and improving the age structure will give TWRA some evidence that they need to restrict deer hunting on select WMAs.

Well that sucks for those who hunt it. I hunted 4 years out on the perimeter. I hated to move. It's a lot of trouble and headache, but no worse than a lease.
