PSU wins that conference by winning their last 9 in a row including a win over one of the teams in the playoff. Not only did OSU not win their conference, they didn't even win their division in the conference. If this was reversed and PSU was ranked 2 and OSU won the Big Ten, you can guarantee that OSU gets in. That being said, I actually agree that OSU should be in ahead of Washington. Here's hoping Bama makes a mockery out of Washington.

Seems weird a playoff team didn't even win their division.

Interesting question. That Defense is incredible.

Because they lost to Penn State and Penn state was undefeated in their division of the Big 10.

Didn't the 2006 season end with OSU getting schooled by Florida in the championship?
Are you looking for a repeat of that? :?
