I'm not sure how to weigh a wet bird or how much that factors in but he was large! It's nothing but ag fields where I hunt so 24ish are not uncommon.

Did some in Leftys chick/fish shake and fried in olive oil. Some I grilled after marinating in jerk sauce and some I marinated in sprite for an hour the. Italian dressing for an hour then grilled

Personally fried is my fav but I try not to eat fried food very often.
