Looks like CBJ is going to give Meyer a run for his money. It's been common knowledge that Meyer had 30+ players arrested during his 5 yrs at UF. CBJ has had 14 arrested in 2 yrs. Looks like he's on pace... :)

I saw that but....... according to that link the university of Tennessee has had 20 players arrested since 2010, 19 football players, 1 basketball player.

Gators have had 32 arrested since 2010 lol, 20 football players one more then UT :smash: they have also had 5 basketball players arrested 4 more then UT :smash:

more baseball players UT had 0 UF 3

UF has also had 2 arrest in track&field haha :smash: and 2 arrest on the swim team :tu: :smash:

Did you see where 14 of UTs arrest happen in the last two yrs. Under CBJ???

UF has had 4 in the last two years.... :pop:

Did you see were UF has had 12 more arrest overall since 2010 :smash: :tu:

Cbj became the HC at Tennessee in December of 2012.

So if you start looking at arrest starting in 2013 I'm only counting 13 vol football players, And 9 UF football players, according to that link. So it's close :tu: :smash:

If you count all sports looks like UF has had 14 arrest since 2013 and UT has 14 since 2013 :tu:

We can crunch #s and make them work what ever way makes our point. I'm just showing what's happening now under the present coaches..... :tu:

There should be 14. The team capt. AJ's second arrest, some how didn't make the list. AJ's arrest on the list was for the party. His sexual assault in Dec. 2014 was missed some how.

Close... I guess you aren't just looking at 2014-2015.... Lol

Me to 13 vol football players arrested since 2013 the year CBJ coached his first game at Tennessee.

9 UF players in that same amount of time according to that link :tu: so its close

Look at all sports since 2013 both schools have had 14 arrest :tu: :smash:

If we're just talking about the link mtn cur posted then they are just two #'s to look at :tu:

Uf 32 arrest, UT 20 arrest.

So all depends on how far back the writer wanted to go to make the article work to his debate. Why didn't he just go back to 1989 or just to 2014????

All joking aside, coaches can't watch these players 24/7. Also in a lot of cases listed above, the players were misdemeanor cited and never took to jail. Some of the charges above are driving on suspended license.

No it don't all depend on how far back writer goes.

It all depends on which link was posted lol that's why I said if we're just talking about the LINK mtn cur posted. :tu:

This debate is kinda pointless cause you can dig up ALL kinds of #'s and story's if you start going back 20 or 30 years lol.

I was just using the link posted above that just happens to use the time frame of 2010-2015.

Exactly. The list needs to give the charges and a list of convictions is better. How many were open container at campus party or driving on suspended license vs sexual assault, armed robbery or other felonies?

OSU has had 12 arrests since Meyer arrived, but that doesn't mean a whole lot. Like GNB pointed out, the coaches are significantly restricted in the time they can spend with the players. I wonder how many of these arrests occurred back home with their homies.

I think back to some of the stupid things I did as an 18-19 year old athlete at a Div III school and I was (a) lucky to come out alive and/or (b) lucky not to have been arrested (nothing personal injury related or sexual, but the kind of things that a group of 6-10 stupid, middle class, white 18-19 year old boys do when alcohol gets introduced).
