Does it explain the poor performance?

I've heard of several players with fake injuries, missing practices and team meetings.

Did he fall on a helmet..... He was dressed and ready to play against SC? Almost sounds like last years Hurd's injury during the middle of the season.

Why do the vols seem to have more injuries than other teams ? Is it that they don't have the proper strength coach in place ? And is not preparing them properly ?

idk. but who really knows with sneaky butch doing his antics. did he think south carolina was going to scrap the defensive plan for one QB or the other? lmbo its just old

Dormady played 2 snaps in the SC game. It was only because JG lost his helmet on 2 plays but he was dressed and actually had a good run on a keeper, 14 +/- yards.

I think this is Butch spin, maybe not, but I know for a fact a few of these instances were butch spin. TKJ had quit the team and his dad made him come back, he was one that was just out on injury. What about Jennings? any news on him? not even on the sidelines or in meetings, that we know of.

I think Butch has lost the team, fans and hopefully the boosters and UT admin. I think Butch is a good guy, he was definitely passionate about UT football but he is just out classed here. I have no doubt he would be a pretty good coach for a smaller div. 1 school in a different conference

This is exactly how I feel..good guy but has been overwhelmed.

They claim he is injured and may need surgery yet they said he will be at Alabama game and ready to go in if needed..............SMDH

That's really not outside the realm of possibility. It's a soreness in his shoulder. Not sure if it's the throwing one or not. Just because surgery may be required to completely fix it, doesn't mean that he couldn't play of necessary.

Also, FYI, word is that Peyton did advise him to not make plans to transfer just yet, as had been rumored.

Not sure why Peyton would be worried about it.....Dormady is a great guy and all but I seen nothing out of him. I hate to knock the guy but he seems extremely soft. Part of his problem is coached, I get that but I just was not impressed at all, ever.
