Dove Season Opener falls on a Sunday

Because Sept 1st is on a Sunday, I thinking twice about going on my annual Labor Day/Dove Hunt trip to MS. Can't even shoot til 2pm.

us too. probably one of the TWRA fields in Philadelphia.

Historically, the hunt I go on every year involves about 50+ dudes from all over the South anxious to leave home and get a weekend break. We shoot birds Saturday til Monday. If we can't shoot til Sunday after 2pm, I imagine that a bunch of excess drinking and eating will fill the void til we can shoot.

will do. we'll try to check out some of the fields on Saturday then decide where to start.

Probably try Hiwassee Refuge for geese and then dove hunt at noon. Where is everybody heading??
