Just like heroin dealers... free handouts to get people hooked.
Not against the sports book companies, I just find their methods distasteful.

Its the same thing Casinos do, free plays when you sign up, comps like meals and free rooms etc...to keep folks playing.
No different than the lottery or scratch offs. The lure of easy money carries strong appeal. People that are going to gamble are going to find a way. Bookies were around before the sports books were legalized. It sucks that people gamble away money they can't afford to lose, but it's their money. The truly vile part of it with casinos, is they target retirees and people on fixed incomes.

They target me every month too. I get flyers from at least 5-7 casinos monthly with "deals" insideActually, quite a bit different. Lottery tickets are at the counter, and run ads, but everyone is in one big basket. Casinos, on the other hand, arrange bus trips for groups of seniors to their casinos and then pile on the incentives to keep them coming back. I don't have a philosophical problem with the lottery, casinos or sports books, but the way the casinos in particular target people with fixed incomes is just wrong.

Bout ready to book another stay with them
I'm a few years away from that luxury. Hopefully I'm still able to drive myself. They sending a bus to pick you and 40 of your closest friends up? All of you being in your 70s?
I get it. Unfortunately old folks get taken advantage of a lot.Actually, quite a bit different. Lottery tickets are at the counter, and run ads, but everyone is in one big basket.
