Duck river

Did some fishing and scouting today on the Duck. Bass were loving the popper on the fly rod. Everything I caught was kinda small though. Does this river hold big fish that can be caught on fly tackle?

Not sure where you were on the Duck, but yes, that river and many of its tribs contain quality and trophy smallmouth, largemouths, and spots. I would upsize your fly to at least a 6 and you should draw interest from better quality fish.
