I could tell from interviews he may not be the brightest bulb in the lamp, but this one takes the cake.

Jimbo Fisher called it a "blessing" to coach Winston.

"He's one of the unique players that I've ever had the privilege to coach," Fisher said in a statement. "He embodies what you as a coach want as a person, a student and a player. He's a genuine and honest guy. He's one of the greatest players in Florida State history. I want to thank him for the way he represented himself and the organization in so many tough situations and the professionalism in which he handled the ability to be such a great teammate to his teammates and always put them and the program above himself. That's a very unique ability to be able to do especially at his age."

yep, he is a god send that has brought so much positive press to the University. Imagine if you were fortunate enough to have a whole team like him. He can brawl on Wednesday, steal crab legs on Thursday afternoon, makes obscene gestures on Friday, Engage in an on campus BB gun war on Saturday and still have the energy to rape a girl on Sunday. Now that is the face of an NFL franchise.

The apparent bias from redblood doesn't even deserve a reply .Lord, that much hate must be terrible to live with.
Sorry baddnole but I've got to agree that was kind of dumb for Jimbo to say. Jameis is a good athlete and time will tell if he can stay out of trouble but so far he's not been a model citizen and somebody I'd want my daughter to bring home. I have a buddy who is an alumni from FSU and he's thrilled he's leaving. Have a nephew who just graduated from there in December but haven't talked to him to see what he thinks. Be interesting if they did a pole on campus to see students opinion of his decision to leave.

Ignornant post,thanks.

i think you may be winstons last fan. most people put human decency over sports
I never seen any bias or ignorance? Just a member posting a statement. Redblood telling it like it is. Sometimes the truth hurts!

There are a lot of students and faculty that would love to see Jameis leave to get rid of the reporters and ESPN on campus. There were people happy when Peyton left Tenn. Couldn't beat Florida. People are people, most complain and love to trash others. This topic shows that. Innocent guilty doesn't matter. There are even Black people that wanted him to leave.

I'm not aware of one single person that wanted Peyton to leave. Comparing him to Winston is a joke. Don't remember Peyton being accused of rape, stealing crab legs or anything else, standing up and hollering vulgarities on campus, etc. Jameis is a great athlete but that's where the similarities with Peyton end. :bash:

Only compared him to the fact not every player is loved by all fans.Believe it or not there are people who still dont like Peyton and I never said anything bad about Peyton. Class act just like Archie and Eli and Cooper. Soooooooooo dont try to twist that I implied otherwise redblood and Gravey. I wonder why Archie and Peyton had Winston at their camp to work with all the kids this past summer.Hmmmmm
