East West

The only part I didn't like about the east & west division was they would go 5 or 6 years without seeing another SEC team from the other side.

Example: Tennessee hasn't played Auburn in Knoxville in over a decade. Mississippi state has played in Knoxville twice in 15 years. 7 years since LSU has been to Neyland. The new format was supposed to fix that and give every SEC team a home and home with every team over a 4 or 5 year time frame. It was always ridiculous to me you could be in the same conference as a team and not play them at home for over a decade.

I agree I got used to the divisions but @THEdonkey0515 makes a good point. If I understood correctly I heard that someone playing 4 years will have a chance to play at least 1 game in every sec stadium. That's cool

Since the last game at Nyland
Auburn 2013
Arkansas 2015
Lsu 2017
Mississippi state 2019

This is a big part of what they were trying to fix. you shouldn't have to wait 6 to 12 years to see a home game against another SEC opponent. Now that it is open, they should be able to rotate everyone more frequently.
