East wind..... why?

East or ENE wind is an absolute killer for actually catching fish for me.
Gasman can catch them ole cats on them but I can't catch bream, bass or crappie with any time of East wind.

WHY ????
I don't know for sure, but my theory is that our prevailing winds are typically west-to-east and frontal systems travel that direction, often bring a falling barometer. An east wind might be indicative of a rising barometer. I have absolutely nothing scientific to base that upon, but it's my theory and I'm sticking to it.

depends on the pressure system. a south east wind on an incoming low pressure means a storm is coming and you can nail them. an east wind after a high pressure has moved through will shut them down.

low pressure winds move counter clockwise and high pressure winds move clockwise. depending on whether the system is just beginning, passing thru, or passed thru is dependent on wind direction.
