2 really good QB's coached by two of the best offensive minds in the game. State might be playing a little better recently and the Ole Miss QB might not be 100% healthy.

I took the over 64.5 and Ole Miss+2.5.
 
State just dropped the ball 3 straight times all 3 would have been TDS lol

They missed a wide open TD in the redzone a couple possessions before that.

Then missed two chip shot Fgs

Yep. Those drops are killers. They get the ball coming out of halftime, and they better score.

Concerning the missed fgs, Leach kind of brought that on himself where he publicly announced open tryouts for a kicker a couple of weeks ago. You don't put that kind of public pressure on someone who is already having issues. A lot of kicking accuracy is between the ears.
 
Yea those dropped passes and missed FG's killed the Over. No big deal, Ole Miss won at least...call it a wash and try again today.

FanDuel also has a "super boost" bet for Iowa to win the first half & the game at +250. I've had pretty good luck with these "boost" bets.

Didn't Dooley get a FG kicker off the couch one season be was there?
 
Lane Kiffin record this season is 10-2-. Only losses was to ALABAMA and auburn and should not have lost to auburn. I can't imagine him staying in Oxford much longer.

Just as Dobbs hid Butch's true colors, Corral has done the same with Kiffin. TN easily beats them without him.

But, Kiffin is smart enough to realize this and will strike while the iron is hot. He wants to be replace Saban's replacement, so his next job will have to be the right one where he can win right away.

But, I see him like James Franklin.
 
I think he stays at Ole Miss. He's the King of Mississippi(maybe #2 behind Archie Manning). In Florida he would be just one of several celebrity NFL, MLB, NCAA coaches, actors etc...

I also think he has a good shot at landing Arch Manning at Ole Miss, I doubt Arch would follow him to FL. Arch would attract a lot of talent to Ole Miss making them a championship contender and Kiffin instant legend at Ole Miss.
 
Go back and find my article where Mississippi high school coaches aren't fans because he's not recruiting MS kids.

I think he knew he was leaving and saw no need to put in the time. BTW word is that the Mannings aren't fans either, but who knows?
