Guys i have owned alot of bows in my many years. But none as sweet as the Elite Pulse. This is my first Elite and maybe my last.I think its thats good.

Super smooth draw.Does have a little hump at the end of the draw, nothing that you cannt get used to.Draw stops on the cams.So you can adjust the valley to your preferance.34 in ATA and 6in brace.Dont let the brace scare you.Shoots really good with my 30in draw.Shoots my 29 in Axis arrows 286 fps.Pretty fast for 55 lbs.

I will have to hunt with it for a year before i say its the best hunting bow i have ever owned. It feels and shoots good now.Hope my "daytime monster" gives me one more chance this year.

Also have gone to a one pin slider this year An HHA 5519.Said once i would never use an adjustable sight ever again. This one may make me change my mind about sliders.

Still shoot the whisker biscuit and it works just fine.

I am ready for bow season.Bring it on!

Awesome. Would like to shoot an elite sometime. Get any pics of that big buck this year?

Not even a shooter.3 cams and over 2800 pics in 2 weeks on 3 farms.Dont know where they are.May pull chips again this tuesday afternoon.Want to ride along?

got me a elite z28 this year(its a 2009 model)you are right they are majorly smooth.never thought id put my patriot down but this thing is a joy to shoot.going to try a biscuit as well,so far I like it.tried a limb driver pro v first really liked it but it came untied once then the string broke(im sure because of not being hooked up exactly right)but fail twice in less than 50 shots not going to have that on a hunting bow.

Well, I won't be home from work until 5:30-6. Probably don't wont to check them when deer are moving. Let me know the next time you check them on the weekend.

The Pulse is an okay bow but probably was my least favorite of the Elite line. It's fast but the speed has to come from somewhere and it comes from a more aggressive cam cycle compared to their smoother drawing bows. The Pure is the smoothest bow in their lineup in my opinion. I traded my Pure for a Strother Moxie and regret doing so. I shoot the Moxie okay but nothing like I could with the Pure. So the Moxie is on its way out. I really want an anodized orange or blue Pure for target. Elite makes a good bow but they are hanging themselves with their dealers. They want the dealer to buy so much inventory from them per year...but people go to the dealers to just demo the bows and then buy used off the internet if they liked one and get a full lifetime transferable warranty from Elite with it. So to remedy this, a lot of dealers are not stocking their shops with Elite bows but will special order one for a customer. The catch is...you're stuck buying something without having the opportunity to shoot one first.
