End of the 3D season

The '09 3D season ended for me today. I shot with UTGrad, my buddy TnArcher (seldom here) and the wife of the man who got me started in 3D. We had a blast like always. It would have been nice to shoot better, but there's always next year.

UTGrad is about ready to kill some deer ya'll! :D

It was a little sad not having NateUK with us since he moved south; he makes me laugh (usually at him). All of Double Drops' fans asked where he was too. There are some 15yo girls from KY who are IN LOVE with him :D

How much do I owe you for the advice today Jay :D

I had a great time today and Jay helped explain some deer anatomy and what to expect with each shot placement. I killed almost all of the 20 deer I shot today except for one :o. Jay's friend TNArcher was a wealth of advice as well.

The best thing about archery is the people. Everyone is more than willing to give tips and advice and everyone has a good time.

Now I've got to replace a buss cable that has a broken strand and a sight mount that is cracked and replaced a limbsaver that fell off today, but next will be walk back tuning.

She has my figure with longer hair and a heavier beard. Can you say HOOOOOTTTTTTTTT!!!!!! Don't burn yourself DD ;) :D

It sucked not being able to be there, but there is a 3d shoot down here in Bama this weekend that I might be able to make. Hopefully UT will connect this fall and if I even find time to hunt I'll do the same. I look forward to catching up with you guys next year at some ASA shoots.
 
Pine Creek Archery Club has a string shoot coming up on the 6th of Sept. in Hendersonville.

The string shoot is more like hunting situations. There are no stakes and you have to hunt the targets. You follow a string through the woods and choose your shot. You can only go forward on the string, never back.

It is one of our most popular shoots of the year.

Come on out and shoot with us!!!
