Ever had to strangle/stomp/bash one's head in....

don't step on thier heads, especially if they've got 1 1/2" spurs. I used to do that, been eaten up too many times.

Now I just sit or lay over the top of them. When they breathe out, my weight keeps them from breathing back in and they suffocate. Saves your legs from being gashed up, and if you are wanting one for a mount it will cause much less damage than letting the body flop around while you're on the head.

i have swung my shotgun by the barrel like a golfclub on a few works pretty darn good to,had more shells just didnt see the use of wasting em
Same situation here, actually broke the stock off my mossy 835 adjustable tactical upon impact of ol toms head!

Had that happen, Drove to my hunting spot, saw a big tom strutting in a field. (Stupidly) rushed and just put one shell in the chamber and one in the barrel. Called him up, shot and missed, but hit him the second shot. I walked up to him and he took off running, then flying and I was chasing (left my gun behind) and he finally flew into a barbed wire fence and I dove on him and did all of the above: choked, stomped, wrestled, plucked, smacked, punched, squeezed, ect. Until he was dead. Nice bird though, but Ugly pics! :D

Good idea,I just don't know if I could ever bring myself to lay or sit on one, especially them birds that wanna raise their heads up and look at ya after they go down, that would be creepy having one eyeball you while it dies  :D

Grab them by the beak, pull their head out a little and give them a nice little pop right where their head meets the neck, you can use a stick for the dispatching. About as easy as it gets to put one down, no mess, and a 3 year old good muster the force to do it.
