Excalibur Assassin

Pretty dang neat. Wonder if its all new or mix of the Matrix line and added dodads? I have a Matrix 355, I still consider that the sweet spot crossbow for Excalibur. Cocking not difficult, great speed, accurate as all heck, weight very good, simple to break down, not loud for 60yrd in shots(far as I would shoot a deer etc anyway), But plinking out to 100yrds bow is still .5 to 1in accurate you do your part. Great selection of bolt length, broadheads etc the 355 will shoot very accurate. And sticker shock..yep got that with the Matrix 355 too. But bought in and glad I did, I wont need another crossbow.

I have been trying to stay in the compound bow side of the house but my shoulders and now back just won't let me. I am making the switch for good this June, already sold my compound and gear that went with it. I am constantly reading and watching videos on the major brand x-bows. Right now it is the Assassin or Tenpoint Shadow NXT. Just going to spend the big bucks and hopefully use it for many years without buying new every 3 or 4 years. Leaning towards the Assassin but want to see and shot both before the final buy. Has anyone shot either?

This is a sweet bow !! I was at big daddy's getting my bow a few weeks back and the Excalibur sales rep was there and he had this with him . If I were in market I'd definitely look at at hard. Think he said around 1500 msrp
