Excited and nervous

Went out and got my son his apprentice license today. Told him last night at dinner that we are going turkey hunting Sunday morning. He's still walking on air and grinning from ear to ear. I didn't get to take him on the Juvenile hunt, I have custody, but it was his mom's week. I've told him no guarantees and he said he knows but he's still excited. I want this to be a good experience and would really like for him to get his first bird...a father son double would be really cool...

My boy's 13 and been begging to go for quite sometime. Looking forward to spending time with him.

just keep it fun. pack food and water, and make sure he learns something and he'll keep going back.
