Excited to watch him grow!

This is the earliest I have ever ran cameras and I am excited to see this guy develop. I am pretty sure I know what deer this is but hard to tell right now. Any age guesses?


Also I have moved this camera down but this deer looks really good as well for this early in the summer.

First time since last summer I have had any type of feed out and I'm fairly certain he isn't eating anywhere else as the property he is on is bordered by mostly state property.

Here is an updated picture. I am pretty sure he is a 4 year old. The bottom picture is him from last year I am pretty sure. I saw him two times last year and he seemed to roam a lot. Hopefully I will see him again this fall.

My guess is 4.5+ as well. Is he running solo right now? (no other bucks with him)

As of right now I have not seen him with any other bucks so far. Seems strange to me because I have never had bucks at this farm be alone in the summer.

My experiemce has been that bucks 5.5+ tend to run alone in summer; not always, but more times than not.

This is the first buck I have ever gotten on camera during the summer that had been alone. The other 4.5 or 5.5s I have seen have ran with other bucks. Sometimes they have been running with other mature deer but most times they have been running with a young buck. Do you notice the same things?
