Chattanooga Rifle Club is hosting an "F" Class (500 Yards) Match on the 13th of Nov. I am going to go. Is anyone here going to be there?
Thank you!Nice range. I'm a member and live in Ooltewah. I will probably be in a tree. It would be neat to observe for me. Good luck.
What is required to shoot "F" class over there TD?
No, anything ≤.35" cal.So just .223 and .308 calibers?
You would most likely be in F Open looking at what they are running. F-TR is 5.56 and .308 plus lighter weight and some rest restrictions. Are those the only two categories in F class there at CRC? I think I'd have to be in the Field Precision Rifle category if I did enter, if they had one that is.
F TR is 223 308 only and off a bipod. F Open is anything under 35 cal 22 pound limit any rest I thinkSo just .223 and .308 calibers?
Not so sure I'd want to compete against unlimited rifles with my factory rig, but I could give it a shot tho I suppose.
They would allow you in open class as long as you aren't shooting a muzzle break or suppressor. You would be at a disadvantage however competing with specialized rigs. But, if you wanted the experience it could be lots of fun.Not so sure I'd want to compete against unlimited rifles with my factory rig, but I could give it a shot tho I suppose.
I've got a brake (factory) on the Creedmoor. They would allow you in open class as long as you aren't shooting a muzzle break or suppressor. You would be at a disadvantage however competing with specialized rigs. But, if you wanted the experience it could be lots of fun.
What's to know? Unless because you want to shoot 6.5 you need help tying up a man bun.I thought about taking the 6.5 CM, but I've never shot F class comp before, so not sure I know enough to even get started LOL
You can use them as a break. I've used it on the Warbird and on the 338 lapua magnum. He never stopped me. It's up to the range master whether you can use the muzzle break or not.I've got a brake (factory) on the Creedmoor.
Swing by Pascagoula and you can use mineI've got a brake (factory) on the Creedmoor.
