Factory full with tss

My 20ga benelli gives the best most "forgiving" pattern I've ever seen with federal tss 9s and a factory full choke. At 40yds the turkey has no chance but at 20 it's not to tight that I'll miss easily.

Im swapping for an m1 benelli 12ga and don't know that I'll have time to find a turkey choke before season. It's got a full with it and i have some federal 1 3/4 oz tss 9 shot. Maybe it will do good with it

I would certainly shoot it and see what you get. I like a forgiving pattern for turkey hunting. I think one of the biggest mistakes people make is shooting too tight of a pattern for turkey hunting. If you happen to pull a little or that old Tom moves his head slightly you got problems, you are always better off with a more forgiving pattern at close range for sure! I shoot .575 out of my 20 gauge and will not constrict it anymore. Good luck getting it ready!

I killed a turkey two years ago with my Benelli (super vinci) factory full choke, tss #9 at about 30 yards. It absolutely destroyed the bird, it killed it dead but was FULL of shot! I will never use the tss #9 out of a 12 again, I just don't think it is needed. Nothing wrong with old school turkey loads for a 12, tss is for the smaller bores.
