I love to hear em gobble. I am not hunting tomorrow but taking my 9 and 12 year olds after some fall flocks. We're loaded with birds in Hickman County so we're going after them. Anyone else going? I think it's a great opportunity for young and female hunters. And the weather is bad for any deer hunting
 
I went Yesterday and didn't see or hear anything. Gonna try again here in a little while. Good luck to everybody with deer or turkeys.
 
I tried it a little with the same results. Saw just a little scratching where I couldn't stir them with a stick last season. Wasn't very good weather here- hot, humid, and overcast. Maybe I can get a day of good weather before it closes.

We struck out! Nada in first spot, third spot, many birds but too many eyes. Sat yesterday evening and wiggling kids got spotted. Same for this morning. Saw no deer though, which makes me think I made the right choice taking the boys. Forecast now is warm for next weekend too so we may try it again
