favorite condiment

Hmmmm what is a condiment?

According to the Culinary Dictionary:
condiment (KON-duh-ment) – A spice, seasoning, or sauce that is used to give relish or to enhance meat or other foods, and to gratify the taste. Condiments usually supply little nourishment but add flavor to foods. Ketchup, butter, mustard, salt, mayonnaise, hot sauce, etc. are considered as condiments. The word is derived from the Latin word "condire," meaning to preserve or pickle.

So drinks or meas or vegetables can't be condiments since they supply substantial nourishment.

Sriracha or Tiger sauce....I use way too much of both.

I make my own chili oil from scratch too but if you want to try one that is off the charts, cheap and not terribly hot....

LaoGanMa Spicy Chili Crisp cant be beat. This stuff is super addictive

Best hot sauce ive bought is Pex Pepper's Taco Fuego. Very low sodium, not very hot and just insanely tasty. Its a ripe jalapeno based sauce with a hint of chipotle.

Marie Sharps mild smoked habanero is good too but it very smokey. The regular Smokin Marie's is crazy high in salt at over 400mg per tsp.

i have not had a decent pastrami sammich in a long time.

I was with a group of folks from work in Los Angeles and we went to this fancy place just because it was supposedly good pastrami. Sucked so bad I packed half of it up and took it to my apartment and it hit the dumpster on the way in.

You could find better pastrami at gas stations in Miami. Now I am so hungry.
