Fawns Wont Make It Long

I wouldn't say "doomed," but certainly "at risk." And that's why it's critically important that you have as much security cover habitat as possible on your hunting property. You won't be able to kill out the coyotes or bobcat, but you can create habitat that gives the fawns the best chance of survival.
 
After reading this thread, I was home last eve and was watching North American Whitetail TV. They had a guy hunting out of a blind with his 7-8 yr old daughter filming him. He shot a doe with his bow, and it ran out of the field into the surrounding woodline, then, came running back out with two yotes nipping at it's heels! She kept filming him as he exited the blind and ran them off. Pretty cool.
