I dont understand all the bashing going on about these loads. I must be the only one that gets great patterns with these shells. there all out of a ported choke which is not recommended and it aint just one gun. My 835, browning 12, and im hoping my browning 10

Just because i havent counted the numbers you dont have to be a smart ass i just know they shoot good out of my guns and i havent seen on another forum anybody saying anything good about them

I know exactly what the pattern has looked like the past 2 years since ive started shooting them but i havent counted no numbers since ive only shot it once this year to make sure my sights was on. And if you dont have any feedback for it then you really dont have a reason to post either im looking for opinions not somebody bashing me.

Too many people get caught up in the numbers game...I can take a load of #9s and shred paper but dont think it will perform on an ol gobblers noggin the way I want it too... I would really like to know how many people really get the results Nitro Ray posts on his website...I will tell you this I have tried this shell and that shell from him with this choke and that choke and it has never worked for me...He dont seem to have an answer either except "well send us your gun and we will figure it out." No sir, I will keep that $350 thank you!!! It dont take 250 pellets in a 10" circle @40yds to kill a turkey.....and besides that most guns wont do it...blame it on temp, wind, barrel length, dirty barrel I have heard it all from Nitro Ray. Bottom line most guns wont do it!!! With that being said Nitro is the baddest loads I have shot, but I just cant justify shooting them because of the price....one other thing they are loaded very "hot" so I would caution anyone using a semi-auto to be careful..there is a reason he always talks about single shots and pumps doing the best. I have seen more than one semi-auto have something break after shooting these loads, mostly extractors.

Sorry to get off the topic of Federal Flight Control!!!! :)

I sit the federals a few years back before switching to hevi and they were decent and even killed a few birds with them. I never got them to shoot great but they shot well enough to hunt with. I did like the win HV better when shooting lead but like I said in the right gun, choke they will work fine. Heck I still have 2 boxes of 3" and 2 boxes of 3.5" laying around somewhere.

I've used the Flight Control in the past. Lead #5 3.5" in one of my guns, they shot very well with a more open choke without ports.
I don't have any counts, but I know a bunch of turkeys that didn't like them. Like REN said generally I prefer Win HV too when shooting lead, but I gotta play with loads. Now I usually shoot Hevi Shot Magnum Blends.
Roost 1 I've gotta admit I agree with ya. I'll take a good evenly spaced 20" pattern at 40 yards every time.

A lot of guns will shoot 250 plus at 40 yards. All it takes is hevi 7s and the right choke with a really clean barrel.

I have great luck with them, they are gettin kinda hard for me to find. I prefer the #6s out of my 835. I went from a .680 to a .690 choke and got alot better pattern out of it.

Im just joking.I used them and the win when i shot lead. Both of them were pretty good for lead.they were good in all the ported chokes I used
