FINALLY!!! 1st bird!!!!

Finally got my first turkey yesterday! Only took 5 years! Will post pics as soon as I can figure out how. Just a jake, but I am VERY happy! Good day, saw 9 birds, 3 L.B.s, just couldn't get a shot at them. Weather was beautiful, I was out in the woods and got a bird. It don't get much better!!

Congrats! I remember my first was a jake as well. I killed my 2nd the very next morning, and he was 21 lbs., 9 3/4 " beard, and just over 1" spurs. Way to hang in there.
