I've not been around in a Loooong time, don't know if any of ya' remember me or not BUT I finally caved in a got a compound bow.
No more recurve. Main reason was that it's the only hunting tool that I own so I wanted something as efficient, accurate and powerful as I could get and I also wanted something quite so I can practice in the back yard without disturbing the neighbors.
At first I thought about a crossbow but the prices for a decent one are sky high. Then a great fellow on another bow forum offered me a PSE Team Fitz(same as the new Deer Hunter) for the cost of shipping and I just had to take him up on his offer. Anyway, just wanted to share and let ya'll know the good news. Talk to ya' later and see you around the forums.

Yep, Greg at Outdoor Connection worked some magic on the bow by resetting the cable into the longest DL slot on the wheels and putting an 1" longer string on the bow.
I was really bummed out Monday morning thinking that I didn't have a bow to shoot anymore but after a trip to the Pro Shop I felt a lot better. I"m glad we've got a decent Archery Pro Shop here in Crossville. I'd hate to have to drive to Nashville or Knoxville to get things done.
