Finally got him back

I killed this deer in November 2020. 11pt with 4 droptines, 170lbs field dressed in Washington co. This is the only deer I have ever wanted mounted as I have killed a handful of 8pts and a couple 9pts. The first taxidermist had it for over 2 years and no one could get ahold of him as he had moved then left his wife and she was trying to get people their deer back and luckily a friend of mine got in touch with her and grabbed my antlers as he was getting his and his sons, unfortunately the capes were gone.i took it to a friend who had started doing taxidermy and he was able to get me a new cape and mount it for me. I'm satisfied with it and glad to finally have my deer back as I thought I'd never see it again.

Saw a 21 point mount the other day that was a lot narrower than yours. Almost like two Charlie Brown Christmas trees on its head.

Awesome you got it back and fantastic buck. I use to hunt Washington county 15 years ago believe it or not down walnut st. and some over in jonesborough. Both places got to many people nowadays.
