The alarm clock didn't go off sunday morning. We had to jump the battery off on the jeep which triggered the alarm. It was daylight when we went into the woods. I parked beside the pond walked about 200 yards and saw 2 beavers on the other side and ranged them at 90yards, just curious, i took about 10 more steps and saw a beaver in the water 5 yards from me and couldn't pass up the shot. I waited for it to get closer to the bank so i didn't have to go in. I drawed back and skewered him with a rage, that was a good blood trail. Now i got a beaver hide that needs tanning. Never thaught i would kill a beaver before i got a deer with my bow.
