Finally got my mount back

Killed this bird in the spring of 09. Got him back from the taxidermist yesterday. It was worth the wait.
10", 9.5" 4.5" beards
1" spurs
21lb.

Looks great. I killed a triple beard one year and would have considered mounting it, but it thrashed in a lil creek he had just crossed and tore way too many feathers out! Congrats on a pretty bird!

Midmorning saw two toms on the edge of a feild struting a small flock of hens. Luckly they were moving my way. Got set up inside the treeline and just waited for them to come into range. Picked out the closed tom and the rest is history.
