Well I haven't been able to do any turkey hunting because I've been absolutely covered up at work. I went for the 2nd time on April 30th. It was late in the evening and I was slipping up on a gobbler in the corner of a small field. I had sat down waitin on getting a shot at that gobbler when several more came from a different direction headed towards their roost. I picked one out at 40 yards and ended the deal with a load of # 5's. Nothing fancy, I was just in the right place at the right time ! He weighed 20 lbs had a 10.25 inch beard and 1 inch spurs.
