After 4 years of not getting to turkey hunt much and a miss last yr on opening day I finally brought 1 home. After passing a jake last week I decided today that the first legal bird was getting shot at. Saw a group of 6-7 jakes and got them close so I took one. As soon as I shot him all the others jumped him and beat him while he was down. Nothing like friends huh?
He ended up having 2 beards, a 4.5" and 1.25" This is the 3rd double beard I've killed on our place.
