Had the cam out for a month with no bruins and was gettin worried, then boom they show up. Hope this continues as bear season here in WV mirrors the majority of bow and muzzleloader season.

I don't think it happens alot...aleast making it past there first year. I saw her and those little ones in turkey season and that was my first thought, they couldn't have been over 5lbs then. The biggest thing they have to deal with is the dog hunters in december and training season has been in for a few months already so there lucky. Just for note i would never think about pulling the trigger on a sow with cubs..75lbs and not in the company of cubs or sow is the state law.

Great pics.

Please excuse my ignorance, but isn't it fairly uncommon for a female to have 3 cubs?

I found out while hunting in wisconsin that alot of their sows have four cubs and sometimes five.
